Moonrise is Kuutana's third ambient music album.
Following trips to Japan, some tracks like Tsukimi, and Koshogatsu were inspired by traditional local music and time spent visiting local Shinto shrines. Other tracks on the album have been inspired by nature in its different shapes and forms. Dawn, Dusk, and the inspiring thoughts brought about from Moon gazing are ever present on this album.
